Ruby Tuesday

There is something so inviting about a red door!  This church is in Gatlinburg, on the street that leads to my favorite mountain drive, Roaring Fork Motor Trail.
 Linking to Ruby Tuesday.

What a great door and so well painted with no sign of flaking.

I made a Ruby Tuesday badge from a photo of a similar door that I found on a church in Decatur, IL. Small world. Love contrast between the hardware and the door. Happy Ruby Tuesday.

Nice picture - that door really does catch the eye.

I had a look at a few other posts - one day I hope to see your red parrot in the wild - they live here! For a long time they thought the male was a different species it has such different colours!

thanks for the visit to WBW - Stewart M

I agree there is something special about a red church door.

This one looks very much like the one at my brothers church. It has the same shape and color. It use to be a varnished natural wood but got so weathered they decided to paint it. The congregation got to vote on the color one Sunday and red won.

nice door and vibrant color. I also have a thing for doors. I usually capture a good handful whenever I go to a new city. There is just something appealing about their simplicity. Yet they show their history right out there for everyone to see.
