Approximately 10,000 snow geese and a large variety of ducks visit the refuge during the peak of fall migration, usually in December. The refuge is also home to a wide assortment of other wildlife, including threatened and endangered species such as loggerhead sea turtles, piping plovers, peregrine falcons, and bald eagles.
It is a beautifully peaceful place to visit, and the breezes off the water made for a lovely afternoon walk on the boardwalk through the marshes. There were several of these little enclosed pools that were protected from the breeze, and offered an opportunity for some reflections!

a delightful setting; I'm trying to imagine now when the snow-geese visit. Hope you'll be there then to get some snaps again.
Linda, lovely reflections on the wetlands. Looks like a place I would love to visit. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend!

How lovely and peaceful! Beautiful reflections in the water and a wonderful place for reflecting on the beauty of God's creation!
We are kindred spirits! We took a trek around our local provincial park. Haven't done up the photos yet!
cheers!
Really nice reflections, Linda! Both scenes are beautiful.
I like both shots but the second is my favorite. So peaceful and seems remote. Just my kind of place.
