SOOC Sunday

This has been a strange week - not much photography going on.  I have posted a full account of the week over on my other blog, The Road Awaits.  These shots were from my Sunday afternoon walk at the beach.
Not a pine tree in sight on the beach!  Wonder how this got here!
Afternoon sun, highlighting the flowers on the dunes.  I am not sure what these are, but they pepper the sand dunes.
This one I know - honeysuckle!  It smelled so sweet as we walked to the bay side of the beach.  I always think of my childhood - pulling the flowers and sucking the nectar from the honeysuckle.  It's a wonder we never got a bee!

The pine cone shot looks good but I don't see it casting a shadow. Was there a slight overcast to the sky that sunset evening that robbed you of the drama?

I love that you captured the often overlooked ambiance of sea front. That pine cone does cause one to wonder.

Love the pine cone shot! Just the fact there aren't any pine trees there makes that an intriguing photo!

Love your beach -- plenty going on for me! You are lucky to be able to take daily walks on that beautiful stretch~

Honeysuckle is one fragrance that reminds me so much of childhood. How we looked forward to it blooming and always were looking for a perfume that captured the fragrance--none did.

Wonderful photos. I like the first one most especially. It reminds me of the movie THE WAY BACK where one of the casts leave a pine tree fruit in the desert.

Have a great new week ahead. :)

Lovely sand dunes. I like the way things manage to grow on them. And stay beautiful. .)
