Ruby Tuesday was a Day Lily!

I spent an hour at the Botanical Gardens on Saturday, photographing day lilies for hanging at the Gardens.  I had no idea there were so many varieties!

Of course, there were a few other "ruby" flowers there too...

The rest will have to wait for another Ruby Tuesday...

I love planting day lilies. They are so easy to grow. Surprised I have not yet planted any red ones. These are so lovely.

LOVE these!
wonderful 'ruby' fotos, Linda!
did you know there's a Lily Capital of the World? they have a Lily Festival every summer in July which i attend. There are over 1500 varieties avlbl for sale any time actually through the gardens, but at the show the displays and entries are Fabulous. Most people in the town grow their own which adds to the gorgeous floral decor of the town all summer!
you'd LUV it! no end to foto opps!
